Birthday Party

At WOPL!, children celebrate their birthday in a special way: playing, discovering and having fun together with all their friends in our playful yet calm indoor play and learning world in Amsterdam-Zuid. A birthday party at WOPL! is warm, cosy and carefree — you get to relax while the children have the time of their lives.

A birthday party at WOPL!

A birthday party at WOPL! is all about playing and discovering together. The birthday child and their guests roam through our three play worlds, where there is something for every child to enjoy. That turns the birthday into an afternoon full of wonder, smiling faces and lovely memories — without you having to worry about the organisation.

When and how long?

We host birthday parties from Wednesday to Monday, with a choice of three start times: 10:00, 12:30 or 15:00. A birthday party lasts 2 hours in total, leaving plenty of time to play, celebrate and wind down.

Number of children and supervision

Every party can be booked for a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 15 children. To keep everything running smoothly and safely, we ask for at least 1 supervisor per 4 children. That keeps the party fun, manageable and safe for everyone.

Playing across three play worlds

The heart of every WOPL! party is our three play worlds. Children can explore to their heart's content and move from one world to the next:

• World of Water: catching fish, building water tracks, splashing and discovering.

• World of Construction: playing with giant blocks, steering dump trucks and enjoying a climbing corner adventure.

• World of Art: painting and drawing, working with clay in the clay corner and discovering colours.

This mix of playing and learning makes a birthday at WOPL! a little different from an ordinary party: children aged 1 to 8 always find something that suits them.

A nice time for the parents too

While the children play, parents and supervisors can take it easy in our WOPL! Café, a cosy family café with snacks and drinks. On sunny days, WOPL! Square, our outdoor terrace, is the perfect spot to catch up. That way the party is not only fun for the children, but also a pleasant afternoon for the grown-ups.
