Welcome to WOPL!
WOPL! (World of Play & Learning) is much more than a play area. It's a unique family experience where children and grown-ups play, discover, learn and make memories together.
At WOPL! we believe children learn most when they get to discover things for themselves. That's why we've created a world where imagination, experimenting and playing together take centre stage. A place where children up to 8 years old can enjoy themselves for hours, and where parents, grandparents, babysitters and carers don't stand on the sidelines but become an active part of the adventure.
From interactive play worlds and creative workshops to a cosy family café, a sunny terrace and holiday programmes: there's always something new to experience at WOPL!
The Play Worlds
Discover three unique play worlds where children learn, create and experiment through play.
- World of Water – Catch little fish, race boats, build bridges and make giant soap bubbles.
- World of Building – Build towers, transport materials and create the most amazing constructions.
- World of Art – Draw, design and experiment with colour, light and shape.
WOPL! Café
After all that playing, it's time to enjoy some good moments together. In our family café you can pop in for great coffee, a fresh lunch, a tasty treat or a cosy drink. And the fun of playing carries on here too. Children can build with hundreds of Coblo magnets and blocks, lay out their own train track, colour, play shuffleboard or curl up in one of our reading nooks.
Whether you want to relax, work or meet up with friends and family: the WOPL! Café is a place where both children and grown-ups can enjoy themselves for hours. In short, there's plenty to discover for the whole family.
WOPL! Square
With WOPL! Square we bring the WOPL! experience outdoors. On our spacious, sunny terrace children can play at the building site, discover family games and enjoy adventures outside, while parents relax with coffee, lunch or a drink.
The terrace is spacious, easy to keep an eye on and largely enclosed, so there's plenty of room to play, relax and enjoy together. We also regularly host workshops, events and special family days here.
The best part? WOPL! Square is free to enter. You don't need a ticket to use the terrace and the outdoor activities.
WOPL! Club
At WOPL! the discovering doesn't stop after a visit to our play worlds. With the WOPL! Club we offer fun weekly workshops for children aged 4 to 8, where creativity, curiosity and experimenting take centre stage.
Children can join activities that fit perfectly with the WOPL! philosophy: learning by doing. Guided by our WOPL! team, they draw, build, craft, experiment and discover, always at their own pace and without any pressure to perform.
WOPL! Camp
During school holidays, WOPL! transforms into an adventurous holiday camp full of playing, discovering and new friendships. This summer we're organising our very first WOPL! Summer Camp, taking place over three weeks of the summer holidays: the first week and the last two weeks.
From 09:00 to 17:00, children experience a day full of adventure, creativity and fun. Each day has its own programme with a varied mix of creative workshops, experiments, treasure hunts, outdoor games, discovery activities and, of course, unlimited play in our play worlds. No two days are the same, so children can always experience, discover and learn something new.
The WOPL! Summer Camp has been specially developed for curious children who love playing, creating, discovering and having fun together in a safe and inspiring environment.

Hi, I'm Wopl!
Meet Wopl, the inventor of the play worlds.
Wopl is always on the lookout for adventure, fun and friends to play with. On his journey of discovery he ends up at Stadionplein, and it instantly feels like home. With his long arms and clumsy legs, he gets to work building three magical play worlds, and so WOPL! is born – the place where he invites his friends to play and discover together.
